How's is everyone? Ready for Halloween? Just remember not to eat apples with needles in them or unwrapped candy with sludge on them. Oh, and if you're 21+ and live in Sacramento, the inversions are playing with a ton of other bands Halloween night at Old Ironsides (10th and S streets). It's their annual "Dead Rock Star" night, where local bands do sets of songs by dead songwriters/bands. Who are we doin? You'll have to come see! Show starts at 8ish. The Phantom Jets, The Kimberly Trip, I Scream On Sundae and many, many others will also be playin...<br /><br />Enough about that...<br /><br />Starting the day AFTER HALLOWEEN, the inversions begin their weekly Sunday residency at the Capitol Bowling Alley in West Sacramento! Every week, from 7p to 10p, the inversions and a special guest(s) will be playing music absolutely free! Brandy the bartender will also be offering cheap ass drink specials, and with bowling, video games and air hockey also available, how could ya pass it up?!<br /><br />It starts November 1st with punk rock legend Kevin Seconds playin with us! Jef Weigt did an excellent job in its creation to say the least. At the Sac Music Seen and Heard Festival we had the treat of viewing it at the Crest about two weeks ago and proceeding to vote 5/5 for it ourselves. As it turns out others enjoyed it very much as well we would like to thank and congratulate Jeff. Awesome work.
